Recommendable Nutrition for TTC

2 - 3 hari lepas, time lapang-lapang, aku macam biasa la mesti main tenet. Pastu, saja godek-godek google, jumpa pulak BabyCenter. Macam-macam benda menarik yang kita boleh baca kat situ. Tapi dalam banyak-banyak article, ade 1 article citer pasal cadangan nutrisi untuk pasangan yang menanti zuriat macam aku ni la... Hasil daripada pemahaman aku, kat bawah ni aku dah 'summarized'kan 9 Recommendable Nutrition for TTC (Trying to conceive) Couple. So, lets check it out!!!!

1.  Curb caffeine.
Bagi aku yang ni memang xde masalah, aku bukannye hantu nescaffe @ kopi. Habis2 sangat minum teh je. Hubby pon rasenye ok kot..

2. Rethink refined carbs, e.g: white bread, pasta, and white rice.
Alamak!! xkan x bleh makan nasik kot?? Problem ni..Emm..sikit2 xpe kot..hehheeh..saje nak sedapkan hati ni.. Haish!!

3. Eat your greens, and reds, and yellows, e.g: brightly colored fruits and vegetables, like blueberries, red peppers, and kale.
Sayur & buah!! Memang fav aku nih!!!! Xde masalah.....Cuma Hubby agak memilih sikit...huhuhu..
4. Be finicky about fish. Eat up to 12 ounces (roughly two entrées) a week of low-mercury fish, such as shrimp, canned light tuna, salmon, or catfish or try flaxseeds. Avoiding canned white tuna as well as fresh or frozen swordfish, tilefish, king mackerel, tuna steaks, shark, orange roughy, Spanish mackerel, marlin, and grouper, because they have the highest mercury levels.
Emm..kena makan ikan yg mercury free? Alamak! Camno tu? Aku tak berapa tau pasal ikan2 ni. Tau makan je..hhehehe... Tapi xpe, pasni aku google lagi cari list ikan yg mercury free...heheheh..
5. Pump up on iron, i.e: eat much red meat.
Eh, xjadi hal la...Cuma kena spend RM sikit la..maklumla..daging kan mahal..adoyai!!!

6. Be leery of *listeria. Foods to avoid completely: Raw sushi, refrigerated smoked seafood (like lox), soft cheese made from unpasteurized (raw) milk, and other unpasteurized dairy products.
Aku memang suka sushi..tapi tokak den ni raso eh tak boleh poie gak dgn yg montah2 tu..Jadinye, kalo sushi yg dah masak tu ok kot..??

***Listeria is a harmful bacterium found in ready-to-eat meats, soft cheeses, and unpasteurized dairy products. Pregnant women are 20 times more likely than other healthy adults to get sick from eating listeria-laced food. Those trying to conceive should also be on alert because listeriosis (the infection caused by listeria) can cause a miscarriage early in the first trimester (Hui mak!! ngerinye!! Wa na'uzubillah!!)
7. Don't panic over protein. 2 - 4 servings of up to 3 ounces of protein a day, including fish, lean meats, nuts, and legumes.
Sonang yo nih!! hihihi...

8. Fill voids with vitamins. Take the prenatal vitamin or multivitamin with at least 400 micrograms of folic acid.
Folic Acid!! Yang ni memang dah jadi amalan wajib aku. Rase mcm x lengkap 1 hari kalo x amik vit ni.. ececcecehh...!!
9. Husband to take a daily multivitamin that contains zinc and selenium.
Alamak!! Hubby xde lak amik ape2 vit. Hmmm..kena beli le nih!!
